Whom Do You Call Upon Besides Allah? Servants Like You!

The grave-worshippers claim that the ‘Vahabis’ use Qur’anic verses originally revealed about idolaters and extend their application to monotheists.

The extreme Sufis (just like the Rafidah) claim that all those verses that condemn the invocation of other than Allah are in fact not about their favourite set of saints (Abdul-Qadir, Badawi, Ahlul-Bayt, Ali, Fatimah, Jesus, Pir/Imam X, Y, Z, etc,), but about actual gods that the idol worshippers used to pray (i.e. worship) to.

Of course, the buried and tombed saints of the Rafidah and Sufis have been turned into mini gods, demigods, by their fanatical and extreme followers who are drowning in Ghuluw. They have deified them, however, they will of course never admit that their Ghuluw has lead to the deification of their favourite saint, they will comfort themselves with their get-out close ‘with the permission of Allah’.

As for the satanic Quburi Shubhah: It is based on a misuse of the famous statement of Abdullah ibn ‘Omar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father):

“Indeed, they (i.e. Khawarij) take verses that were revealed about unbelievers and use them against believers.”[ Bukhari]

The grave-worshippers, in their ignorance, conflate the shallow understanding and misuse of Quranic verses by the Khawarij with the precise hujjaj (arguments) presented by Ahlul-Sunnah that fit like a fist in the eye.

The proofs presented by Ahlul-Sunnah are based on unequivocal and unambiguous verses that clearly command us to always invoke Allah alone and prohibit us from invoking anyone besides Him.

Yes, the Quburis will point out how scholars in various tafasir referred to calling besides Allah as worshipping other than Allah. They think that’s an argument against Ahlul-Sunnah!

In their ignorance, they don’t grasp that invoking other than Allah in Du’a (asking other than Allah outside of du’ah is not worship and thus permissible) i.e. praying to (not praying FOR, which is, of course, permissible) is the very essence of worship and this is why the tafasir equate calling upon other than Allah to worshipping gods besides Allah!

If you pray to someone other than Allah you have deified other than Allah even if you don’t refer to that entity as God or claim that you can invoke that entity and ask all your needs from him/her because ‘with the permission of Allah’. You cannot deify other than Allah with Allah’s permission.

Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) haven’t condemned the polytheists for their Shirk of Du’a li-gheirillah only to sanctify the same action as long as the Prophet’s family and other popular saints are invoked!

Besides, Allah has clearly mentioned that those who are called upon besides Him are SERVANTS like US. This is proof that polytheists are of different types. Yes, some may worship completely made-up gods, etc. but many Quburis have a shallow understanding of polytheism, they believe the Quraysh and other polytheists worshipped nothing but self-made idols made of stone, wood, etc.

Whoever is familiar with the history of polytheism in general, especially that of the Quraysh, knows that their false gods were often deified versions of their pious ancestors who had been turned into demigods just like Mary, Fatimah, Ali, and other righteous people to this very day!

This is why Allah says:

{Indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides Allah are servants like you. So call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful.} – Qur’an 7:194

Imam Qurtubi says:

“Indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides Allah are servants like you” i.e. those you worship…

And he is right, calling upon besides Allah in du’a (du’a al-‘Ibadah not du’a al-‘Adda or Nida in daily life) is worshipping other than Allah as du’a is worship and no Tawassul abuse will ever change that.

Yes, the Mufassirun explain that this verse was revealed regarding the idols of the Quraysh and this is clear when we read the verse right after it:

{ Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear? Say, [O Muhammad], “Call your ‘partners’ and then conspire against me and give me no respite.} – Qur’an 7:195

The response: Every verse in the Qur’an is general in the application (except if evidence proves otherwise), and ‘من دون الله’ (besides Allah) includes everything and everybody besides Allah and calling upon needy humans (yes, even Ali, Jesus, Mary, Fatimah, are all needy and seek themselves Wasilah to their Lord) is as foolish as calling upon idols, neither were given the power, task, nor authority to respond to invocations or to deliver them to Allah.

Allah has not appointed any secretaries as he’s not a busy and moody CEO (unlike the claim of many Mushriks) whom you have to approach via His secretaries, that is what the polytheistic charlatans from amongst the priests, Ayatullats, etc. want you to believe. Allah al-Mujib (the one who answers all prayers) has shunned the practice of the invocations of the saints. In Islam we invoke none but Allah, anything other than that is some Church version i.e. corrupted version of Islam.
