A fabricated narration Shias love to use and circulate in defence of Mut’ah (pleasure / temporary marriage):

قال علي: لولا أنّ عمر نهى عن المتعة ما زنى إلاّ شقي

Ali (as) said, “Had ‘Omar not banned Mut’ah, none but a wicked person would have fornicated.”

(the irony is that fornication – literally pimping in the name of Islam – is rampant in Shia regions of Iraq and Iran, the latest BBC documentary has exposed them to the max on that)

Shias as usual cite a number of references (mainly Tafsir books like Tabari, Qurtubi etc) that include many weak and even fabricated reports) to impress the laypeople and the gullible. None of the sources they cite provide an authentic chain for that report, it’s a fabrication and lie.

I was lied to as an Ex-Shia (before I converted to Islam/Sunnah) when I was told that ‘Ali b. Abi Talib (r) not just believed in Mut’ah but he blamed every Zina (fornication) on ‘Omar b. al-Khattab (r) For prohibiting Mut’ah!

Then I lied (like every other Shia polemicist or Turban head who don’t fail to mention this narration in many of their Mut’ah lectures) and quoted this narration to many gullible Shias and Sunnis. This is the circle of lies this is why the Rafidah have been rightfully described as:

The MOST LYING of all groups and sects:

الإمام الشافعي رحمه الله
لم أر أحداً من أهل الأهواء أشهد بالزور من الرافضة! – الخطيب في الكفاية والسوطي.

Imam Al-Shafi’i – may Allah have mercy upon him – said: “I have not seen among the heretics a people more famous for falsehood than the Rafidah.”

اتفق أهل العلم بالنقل والرواية والإسناد ، على أنّ الرافضة أكذب الطوائف ، والكذب فيهم قديم ، ولهذا كان أئمة الإسلام يعلمون امتيازهم بكثرة الكذب.

“The people of knowledge unanimously agree […] that the Rafidah are the most lying of all groups. Lying is an ancient trait of them. The Imams (scholars) of Islam could tell the Rafidah apart (from other sects) due to their excessive lies.”
