The Hadith of Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman Destroys The Very Foundation of Imamism (Shi’ism)

‘Who is the Imam of your time’ the Rafidah always ask Sunnis in discussions regarding Imamah. ‘Whoever died without an Imam he dies a death of jahilyyah’ they always quote (here>>> a thorough refutation of this and similar report) Now one thing is for sure, our Imam certainly isn’t some mythical ‘Mahdi’ who last time was seen in the Sirdab (basement/cellar) of Samarra (100% Sunni city) in Iraq and who is guiding nobody and nothing due to his so-called occultation.

An Imam is someone who fulfills the duties of an Imam, not just somebody who is referred to as such by a group of deluded followers.

إنما الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه و يتقى به

The Prophet said, “The Imam is but a shield (protection) behind whom you fight and you protect yourself with, so if he orders by piety and is just, then he receives reward for that, and if he orders by other than that, then it is against him.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

Imam Nawawi said about the interpretation of this hadeeth:

“‘The Imam is a shield’ means like a barricade, because he prevents the enemy from harming the Muslims, and he prevents the people from wronging each other (or being unjust to each other), and he protects the principles and foundations of Islam. The people fear him and fear his might. ‘Behind whom you fight’, means that you fight the disbelievers, the tyrants, the Khawarij (a deviant sect), and all the corrupt people with him. ‘You protect yourself with’ means against the evil of the enemy, the corrupt people, and the unjust people.”

The Rafidah have no actual accessible Imam (and thus invented Wilayatul-Faqih and now ‘Imam’ Khamenei, the fallible supreme leader of Iran is their Imam, at least to many of them) who is guiding, thus, in the words of the Ex-Shia cleric Ahmad al-Katib, it is more appropiate to refer to Twelver Shias as the Shia of the Maraji’ (fallible, predominently Iranian Ayatullats who can’t read a Fatihah with semi-correct Tajwid), rather than the Shia of Ahlul-Bayt/Imams, as they are not being guided by any infallible Imam, their Persianised and romantacised Imamah has ended in a dead end over 1200 years ago, it is impractical. They have nothing on the mighty Ahlus-Sunnah when it comes to the matter of Imamah.

Now who is the current Imam of the Sunnis? Well, the following Prophetic narration does not just resolve this issue, it also destroys the very essence of Imamism that is built upon the belief that the earth shall never be void of a divine hujjah (proof) and leader and the people of every era are duty-bound to recognize such a leader appointed by God and not to deny him. That ‘divine hujjah’ is of course the non-gguiding, hidden 12th Imam of the Shia and his representative are non-other than the ‘Ayatollahs’ who collect money (Khums) in his name and even rule in his name (Wilayatul-Faqih). Religious charlatanism par excellance.

Narrated Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman:

The people used to ask Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) about the good but I used to ask him about the evil lest I should be overtaken by them. So I said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! We were living in ignorance and in an (extremely) worst atmosphere, then Allah brought to us this good (i.e., Islam); will there be any evil after this good?” He said, “Yes.” I said, ‘Will there be any good after that evil?” He replied, “Yes, but it will be tainted (not pure.)” I asked, “What will be its taint?” He replied, “(There will be) some people who will guide others not according to my tradition? You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove of some others.” I asked, “Will there be any evil after that good?” He replied, “Yes, (there will be) some people calling at the gates of the (Hell) Fire, and whoever will respond to their call, will be thrown by them into the (Hell) Fire.” I said, “O Allah s Apostle! Will you describe them to us?” He said, “They will be from our own people and will speak our language.” I said, “What do you order me to do if such a state should take place in my life?” He said, “Stick to the group of Muslims and their Imam (ruler).” I said, “If there is neither a group of Muslims nor an Imam (ruler)?” He said, “Then turn away from all those sects even if you were to bite (eat) the roots of a tree till death overtakes you while you are in that state.” [Bukhari]

This narration shows that there could be a time when there will be no Imam (as this is happening in this era). Which shows that Prophet (ﷺ) destroyed the innovated beliefs of the Imamite Shia that earth can’t survive without an Imam. Notice that He (ﷺ) wasn’t surprised when the questioner (Hudhayfah ) asked what should be done when there is no Imam. He (ﷺ) didn’t reject the question of people saying how could earth survive with without an Imam. This is sufficient to understand the falsification of the home-made beliefs of the Rafidah.

This is just one of a plethora of narrations, authentically transmitted by the same people who transmitted the Qur’an, that proves that the Rafidi Twelver Shia concept of Imamah is alien to Islam, Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ).
