Your Lord/Rabb Said To Call Upon Him Alone

CALL UPON YOUR LORD (not Ali, Jesus, Fatimah, Mary Angels, Badawi, Jilani, Pir Baba etc)

{…I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon ME. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided} – Qur’an 2:186

{And your Lord says, “Call upon ME; I will respond to you.” Indeed, those who disdain My WORSHIP will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.} – Qur’an, 40:60

And a PLETHORA of other verses that are similar in nature.

There are over 50 Bible verses where God is called upon ALONE by Prophets and the pious. The Qur’an is FILLED with commands to call upon Allah ALONE, all Prophets called directly on Allah, none of them prayed through a ‘superior’ Prophet nor did they teach anyone to do so:

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they asked for forgiveness from their Lord, praying:

“Our LORD, we have wronged ourselves and if Thou forgive us not and have not mercy on us, we shall be of the lost.” (7:24)

When the Prophet Noah embarked on his Ark, he prayed:

“In the name of God be its course and its mooring. My LORD is surely Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. “(11:42)

The following is the prayer of the disciples of Prophet Jesus:

“Our LORD, we believe in that which Thou hast sent down and we follow the Messenger. So write us down among the witnesses.” (3:54)

When the Prophet David and the Israelites faced Goliath, they prayed:

“Our LORD, bestow steadfastness upon us, and make our feet firm, and help us against the disbelieving people.” (2:251)

When the Prophet Job was afflicted, he prayed to his Lord:

“I have been afflicted with distress, and THOU art the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy. “(21:84)

All prayers in Islam are addressed directly to God, without going through the agency of any intermediary. Prophets and Messengers were only intermediaries in the sense that they conveyed the Message of Allah to us. Yes, the Prophets prayed for us when they were amongst us but no Prophet ever taught his people to call on Prophets (let alone Angels or Imams) after they left this world, the Qur’an and the Bible agree on this:

{And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of ALLAH and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.} – 4:64

“Then all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the LORD your God, so that we may not die, for we have added to all our sins this evil by asking for ourselves a king.” – Samuel 12:19

All sinners are invited to call directly on Allah, no matter how siful they are. So don’t let any priest, Pir or Turbaned Shaytan fool you with fallacious argument of all saint worshippers where God, Allah, is compared to the creation. They say that God will unlikely respond to sinners like ourselves, thus it’s better to ask the saints/Imams/Pirs/Angels/Mary/Fatimah/Ali etc. to ask Allah. As if the saints are more merciful than God, for it is perfectly fine to go to the saints without any intermediary, but not so for God, Allah Himself!

This is their Boss-Employee analogy and in their ignorance they don’t fathom that it doesn’t apply to the Creator. Indeed, the creation, any person, even the most generous will get annoyed if being asked too much for help, assistance etc., yet this does not apply to the Creator, to the contrary, al-Rahman, the Lord of the worlds, LOVES those who ask frequently, the more we pray and ask him the more he loves us, he is not an angry and busy director of a company nor did he take saints, Imams or Pirs as his secretaries through whom we must pray first to get to him, he Himself stated:

“Call upon ME; I will respond to you.” Indeed, those who disdain My WORSHIP will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.} – Qur’an, 40:60

Simple. Islam. Tawhid (monotheism).
